IAS Anu Kumari Success Story: Today we will tell you the story of Anu Kumari, who became an IAS officer after succeeding in UPSC. Anu worked in ICICI in Mumbai for 9 years. In 2012, Anu got married to businessman Varun Dahiya and started living in Gurugram. To stay away from her child, Anu decided to prepare for UPSC for several years. Anu got a big shock in the first attempt. After this, by working harder, he achieved second rank in All India in the second attempt, due to which he fulfilled his dream of doing civil services.
Anu Kumari was born in Sonipat, Haryana and started her school here. After completing his intermediate studies, he decided to do graduation from Delhi. After graduation, he studied MBA in Nagpur. After doing MBA, he worked in a bank in Mumbai. After working for about two years, he was transferred to Gurgaon. It was here that he got married and had a son. At that time, on the advice of his brother and uncle, he left his job and prepared for UPSC.
Didn’t get success in first attempt
Anu was not able to prepare for UPSC with her young child, so she decided to study away from the child. During this time many people also taunted him. Despite this, she continued to prepare. He did not get success in the first attempt. Instead of being disappointed by this, he tried again and gave everything. In 2017, he achieved AIR 2 in his second attempt of the exam. After giving the interview for the second time, she met her child.
